Bill referred to it correctly as a "Split Weber Manifold". The manifold has
two short intake tracts, one barrel of each carburetor is gutted and passages
plugged. The operating barrel has the benefit of added fuel bowl and pump jet
capacity. These manifolds were the ultimate for the Mini, as the standard
Weber intakes were a trade off due to the limited engine bay dimensions. The
spacing on the A series manifolds required one of the Webers to be chopped
almost in half. The manifold for the B series had enough clearance to allow
the carbs to be intact.
