Many thanks to eveyone who has responded to my request recently. I appreciate
everyones patience with my questions that I am sure have been answered many
times before.

In the way of an intro, I am a 2 year 1968 MGB owner. I live in Bossier City,
Louisiana and am a retired State Parole Officer. I have a private investigative
firm and specialize in back ground investigations.

I am willing at no charge to help folks on the list with information on
individuals with whom they have MG sales or if you are trying to collect a debt
relating to there MG. I have access to a lot of information but it has to be
for a permissible purpose such as collecting a debt or making a decision as to
a finanical transaction. Please contact me directly via email on any of these
issues.

In addition to my 68 B (Abbie) I also have a 65 B parts car. I am definitely
NOT a mechanic but I have been able to do a few things to my car. I have
changed out a front shock (that took me 10 days), the alternator, the radiator
hose and fan belt. I fixed some rust spots in my trunk and have suffered
through the still infamous rusted gas tank repair then replacement fiasco, the
constant dead battery syndrone and now a speedometer that has just decided to
go on strike. I made the smartaleck comment the other day that I was getting
100 miles to the repair.

However, I love my car. When it is running, I am the happiest man, when it
isn't I am the saddest. There is not a strong enough valium that comes claose
to the effect than a fast ride down the highway in my B has for me.

I am afraid that I will ask a bunch of dumb questions and hope that you will
forgive.
