Cars today are too easy to drive, I think that is part of the problem. If
everyone had to drive 50s vintage cars to work everyday they would be forced
to pay a lot more attention. That or they'd all quit driving and leave the
roads to us.
I read a great editorial in Autoweek a few years back about auto drive
systems. The author was welcoming them because it meant that everyone could
just jump on the highway and let the car pilot them to work, thus leaving
the byways all but abandoned for sports car drivers. I say bring it on!!
