I intermittently scan craigslist for interesting ads, here's a '71
parts or project car for $600:
http://www.craigslist.org/pen/car/18837996.html

1971 MGB Convertible for sale for $600. This is a project car, the
floors are rusted out but the car is complete and does run with some
TLC. Either its a fantastic chrome bumper parts car or a resto
project.

Either way it's yours for only $600 as-is and tow it away. Remember
this is a project car for an MGB lover, not a turn key driver. If your
interested e-mail me your phone number and i'll call you back. 71 MG

The details: chrome bumpers, 4-speed, front disc brakes, wire wheels,
has black soft top, original color is orange, painted white 15 years
ago, black interior, original blue California license plates, last
registered in 1995.

Rare right hand drive 1963 MG Midget $900.

...yeah! back here again.... The buyer talked me into taking a
deposit, I told many of you it was sold and erased emails/voicemails
and she ended up backing out due to lack of money..so again! it's
back! so sad for a cool little car! I'd be driving it around right now
if I didn't need to be traveling 170 miles/day....as I had said
before"...I've been out of town and the typical craigslisters made me
promise to hold it for them and never came back with money"
so...it's here again? ;-)

YES it runs...pretty good actually even without a tune up.....just
"borrowed a good battery from my other car" and it started right
up...and was a blast to drive around teh neighborhood and to teh
bank...I'm agonna miss this little one. ;-(

and Yes it is registered currently, been a driver, not an old pile dug
out of back of garage.

this is one of the good simple ones, not the"modern" roll-up windows
or any of that...currently in Hot Rod Black flat primer with chrome
period mags. My room-mate calls it a bad-ass midget. ;-)
I just don't have time or room to continue with it. great running
engine, fun to work on and drive. I was in teh middle of polishing the
aluminum cockpit surrounds instead of having the vinyl cover(these are
cool, unlike the sprite ones that are flat, are contoured for a better
look, don't understand why they covered them up....anyway...come on
down and take over ownership of this joy!
