That sounds about right, Al Moss also built one up when they first came out.  
He also swore he would never do it again.  : )

One thing I have always wanted to do is a full bare shell MGB restoration.  
I've got a 1978 shell that is going to be a restoration and V8 conversion, that 
I'm hoping to get to soon, which will be as close to bare shell as I will see.  
First I'll try to make any mistakes on my 1979 beater daily driver project car.
