Interstate has a different numbering system. On my '77, I put a 24-6 in.
Of course, the single battery cages are a bit different from the dual slot.
I'd go with a single battery. I'd go with the new dry cell over 2 old
tech 6 volts. A regular 12 volt would probably end up being $60-70 dollars.
