I can tell you from experience that running a HOT rotor through a puddle can warp it. But, it doesn't happen every time. Most of the time, the codl wate does not hit the rotor but is deflected by the tire, wheel, and splash shield. Also, when a shop turns the rotor to eliminate this warping, it is just setting it up for another failure. Maynard |
