The ABFM in Portland was a fantastic show! The estimate was around 800+
cars plus the racing. The quality of the cars was impressive and the
swap meet wasn't too bad this year. Since its beginning, this was the
best event ever! The SOVREN folks were really pleased as well and hope
to do it again next year.
If you are within MG range of Portland, don't miss it next year.

Subject: All British Field Meet/Vintage car races
To anyone in the Portland, Oregon area, if you missed the all British
Field Meet, that's a shame as it is always full of great cars to see.
This year the SOVREN vintage car races are being held at the same
time/same place - PIR. Tomorrow (Labor Day) is race day so if you want
to see your favorite old British car racing like it used to or listen to
the thunder of the vintage Can Am cars, drop by PIR between 11:30 and
5:00, earlier if you want to see some practice sessions.
Hope to see some of you there.
I met Jeff Zorn this morning at his Little British Car Company tent and
had a nice chat. This is a long way for him to come from Farminton
Hills, MI. He will no doubt be telling those of you on his mailing list
about his time in Oregon. Fortunately the weather has been great 80-90
degrees with a nice breeze. I say fortunately 'cause it usually rains
on all holiday weekends in Portland.
