I see that Moss sells stiffer valves for the lever
shocks on MGBs. I also know that the shocks are
filled with "shock oil."
Two questions:
1) What is shock oil? I assume it's a straight
weight oil, but is it similar to anything? Like 30w
motor oil or something?
2) Based on the answer to #1 above, can I just change
the weight of the shock oil to change the stiffness of
the shocks, or will use of something other than shock
oil not produce consistent effects?
