I don't have a triumph (this being an MG list) so I can't say, but my 78 MG
B takes a radio just fine if you file the edges of the opening.
If you want a modern radio, call Crutchfield (www.crutchfield.com, not sure
what their 800 # is...) and they have information on just about every car
radio installation possible; get the dimensions (height, width, depth)
although they usually have that just from the model year and number, and
they can probably help you.
Failing that, try a triumph list, you'll probably find someone who's done it.
