Ok, did my compression test today, and sure enough, have some bad pistons
rings in #2 - readings were 140 - 60 - 145 - 145.... Of course, this
coming Sunday is my favorite show, the Red Mill show in Clinton, NJ...
Looks like I may be driving my VW there... :-(
I read that I can do this job with the engine in the car; I'd rather not
pull it if I have to. Any hints/tips? Can I source the rings locally or do
I need to ge them from a BritCar specialist? Is there anything else I
should do while the engine is open?
