Hello All,
I got lots sorted on the latest MG arrival, my 78 Midget. Replaced brake
master, front brake pads and hoses, rear brakes and wheel cylinders, tie rod
ends and got most of the electrics working. Took it out for the first drive
today, maybe three quarters of a miles. Whole lotta shaking going on, so back
to driveway. Hope UPS delivers the upper fulcrum pins and bushings early
tomorrow. Already resigned myself to taking the 80 Carmine Red B to Carlisle on
Friday. For thoses who are going to be there, it's the one with the
"interesting" Saab wheels. Make sure you stop by the MG Council / Keystone
Region MG tent on the display field and say hi. I'll B around till Saturday
evening. <Bmidget1> George, from the Spridget List (can see his Midget pictured
on page 46 of May / June MGB Driver) is traveling with me this year, his first
Carlisle.
Safety Fast,
