Thanks for those that gave advice on brake pads.  I may go with the
Greenstuff pads just for the benefit of less dust.

Next question is regarding the quality of the currently available
aftermarket rack boots.  Moss offers both the original and aftermarket
versions, with a fairly significant difference in price.  Are the
current aftermarket boots OK, or should I spend the extra dough?
