I have a recently acquired EP MGB with modified front lower A-arms to
accommodate a coil-over suspension. I have been told that by the PO
that they are "stretched" stock arms. The left front arms are bent
after an off-track excursion a few years ago (how the car continued to
be raced in its current condition is beyond me). I am planning to have
new arms fabricated. My question for the list is:
Can anyone tell me the total length, and center of A-arm bushing to
center of kingpin bushing measurement, of the stock lower arms?
Also does anyone know how long the "Negative Camber" arms that Moss
sells (Part No. 264-038) are?
It may make more sense for me to modify the negative camber arms, than
to "stretch" stock arms. I am going to measure everything on my car
this evening, but wanted some background information to determine the
best course of action.
Help??
