I know of an Arkley-bodied Midget with a Lotus Twincam. Very well done, if
Arkleys are to your taste, built by a pro at least.
For sale, in Minneapolis. NFI, etc.

Subject: Twincam Midget
I was picking some parts up at British Motorsports this morning and
one of Dave's employee's (I've spaced on his name) mentioned that the
Pick'n'Pull on Commercial Way in San Jose has a Midget that they are
going to be putting up for sale (his son-in-law is the manager
there). Apparantly the car has a good body and someone has installed a
twincam toyota motor and tranny in it. It even has the engine
management computer. He also said something about wire wheels and
that it is nominally a 1969.
This is all I know about it, so the information is third hand, with
the associated reliability. A hundredmumble horsepower Midget does
sound like a lot of fun though, so I thought I'd pass it on in case
any of you hotrodders have too much time and money and too few cars
