Jim:

The braided fuel lines can easily be shortened if they are too long. The
rubber protective cap is peeled away, then wrap some black vinyl tape around
the area to be cut then use a fine toothed hacksaw to carefully cut through
the braid and rubber. Keep a very sharp pair of wire cutters handy in case
of any frayed ends. Reinstall the rubber cap, and away you go.

If you have a chance to measure what lengths you need, and let me know the
ends, I will see what I can find. It's typically dark when I get home and
the thought of fighting spiders under the hood of my C isn't very cheery.

I had an altercation under my Rover SD1 last week with a huge black widow
spider protecting her sac of eggs that had me shaken for a while. I just
love living in a field.
