;-)

Injectors were overhauled using less than a tenner's worth of filters and
pintle caps from "Burlen Fuel Systems". Ensuring scrupulous cleanliness, I
cut off the swaged hose collar at a sharp angle using suitable snips,
discarded the old fuel hose, extracted the filter with a small "easy-out",
cut off the pintle caps and washed everything with panel-wipe, blow drying
and cleaning with an airline. New caps and filters were pressed in place in
a vice using hard- wood protectors with a small hole preventing pintle
damage. Each injector was tested on a hose containing an ounce or two of
panel wipe under 30 lbs pressure from an airline, pulsing the coil with
a 3
volt (not 12 volt) power supply and observing an orderly conical spray
pattern with no dribbling. New hose lengths were coupled using neat fuel
hose clips from Burlen, then assembled to the fuel rail whose various other
hoses were all supplanted using the same clips"
