Computer issue, no LBC

Sorry to post this off subject message; this list is filled with
computer experts, that's why I am posting this.  Please do not reply to
the list, reply directly to me.

I recently purchased a new computer.  It is configured such that MS
Internet Explorer makes a 'click' sound when I click on a link.  Can
someone show me how to turn this click feature off?
