The site that does Chev V-6 conversions in the MGB is well done. These
engines are compact and fit easily into old British sports cars.
People considering such a conversion should realise that early carbbed
engines (the ones normally used for this sort of thing) had weaker bottom
ends and didn't put out all that much power, although torque output was
pretty good.
The engine to use is a late model 2.8, 3.1, or 3.4 with injection. It is more
trouble to transplant, with the ECM and all, but well worth it in terms of
power, driveability, and fuel economy.
