To all:
I'm a newbie whose interest was sparked last summer by my good friend and
fellow lister Bill Meyer. I don't have an MGB yet, but I definitely want to
buy one near the end of this year. I've set my sights on either an MGB
roadster (67 to 74, chrome bumpers with negative ground) or an MGC roadster.
This gives me plenty of time to read and research, but the local bookstores
don't carry any magazines specific to MGs. I did a search in the archives
and on the net and found the following periodicals:
B+ Midget Magazine
British Car Magazine
Classic MG Magazine
MGB Driver - NAMGBR, US
MG Enthusiast, UK
MG Magazine (bought by MG World, 5 Nov 2000)
MG World
Octagon Magazine - AMGBA, US (with "Technical Sections, Vols. 1 & 2")
Safety Fast Magazine - MG Car Club, UK
I like to look through magazine before choosing to buy them. I want to
subscribe to one or two MGB/MGC-centric magazines, but _without_ having to
be a club member first. Preferably with a US distribution. So I would
appreciate any opinions advocating the merits of your favorite magazine(s).
Please let me know if I missed any periodicals worthy of consideration.
I would also like any book recommendations for buying guides. I've already
found quite a few pages on the matter, but I want to read more.
