My daughter's Honda had relay problems too - wouldn't hot start - dealer
wanted many tens of my pounds for a part he didn't even have in stock.
Searched on Google and found hundreds of pages bemoaning the poor
reliability of this relay, including one with detailed photos describing
what went wrong and how to fix it. On the Honda item there are two relays
in the unit soldered to a pcb, but instead of there being short pins from
the bottom of the relays that sit right against the pcb it uses long copper
'legs' from the top. The relays get warm in use, the copper legs expand
unequally, and push some of the pads off the pcb so cracking the tracks.
Initially quite a problem to diagnose, but quite simple to fix.
