It does look that way, but I had my motor on my 3-wheeler for a couple days
and it seemed perfectly stable. I bought the stand because I thought I was
going to rebuild the engine, but it turned out to be so messed up I replaced
it instead. So I can't vouch for the stability under stress (fitting pistons
and rings, torquing main caps, etc).
