There are no factory installed metrics on an MGB - aftermarket or DPO,
perhaps. However, there are a number of places that non-SAE (UNF, to be
proper) fasteners are used:
Most carburetor and fuel fittings (plumbing) still used BSP or BSPT
(British Standard Pipe or British Standard Pipe Tapered). Most small
diameter screws were BA (British Association). The most common BA thread
used was 2BA which is nearly the same as a 10-32 thread. These are
common on electrical items.
