FWIW:
The twin cam and deluxe wheels are all steel. There have
been some aftermarket (Realm) wheels made in alluminum.
Be forwarned!! The twin cam and Deluxe wheels will NOT fit
any other car unless it has the Dunlop four wheel disk brake
set up, complete rear axle, and front suspension, too.
These Dunlop steel wheels are not spline driven but use four
pegs which go into holes on the hub. There were only about
2,500 sets of these made and pricey. Please leave them to
the twin cam and deluxe owners who also have other expensive
and hard to find items to contend with such as the original
engine and Dunlop brakes.
It would be way cheaper and less work to just bolt on a fake
spinner to a standard wheeled car. Or use spline drive
aftermarket wheels on a car equipped for wire wheels.
