How did you manage to get the switch out and back in?
Cheers,
It was really not that hard (had some help from Paul Hunt). This is for my D
type overdrive mind you and I think the later is different. We had to remove
the transmission carpet, get off the 11 screws that hold down the large access
panel on the top of the hump and after dropping transmission crossmember to
give us more help. The switch was right there and it took two minutes to remove
it and take out one washer. I think I have heard that on the later overdrive
the switch may be on the side and I recall a post about someone making their
own access panel at the spot. hey, It is going to be covered by the carpet so
what the hell.
