If there's a spark at the coil but not at the plugs, the fault is in the distributor cap, rotor or high tension lead from the coil to the the cap. Not likely that all the plug wires are at fault. Why was the old battery replaced? Did the owner run it down trying to start the car or did the car run when it was brought to the shop?
