You seem to have a lot of pent-up rage, Skye. I'm not your enemy.
I was talking about obeying the rules of the road, which is a good
thing; and the lack of predictability in traffic, which is a bad
thing, whether you're a pedestrian, a bike or a car. If your missive
is indicative of the attitude you have towards other drivers, you
*must* be a bicycle courrier! :-)
It also seems you have a particularly urban mindset about traffic.
As a pedestrian who grew up in a rural area, *my* goal has always
been to not get hit, rather than to confront each vehicle with a chip
on my shoulder. Pedestrians stop in a lot shorter distance than cars.
The only thing I have the right to run over is cats. :-)
(What the heck, it's Friday.)
