I have yet to actually buy the fire extinguisher, but I should because of
how it originally blew the engine and because I'm not interested in losing
it again to an easily avoidable fire.
The cell phone, however, has proven its worth more than once, if only
because I ran out of gas or had some other problem. And it has some fuel
delivery issue I haven't posted yet because I haven't narrowed it down
enough, but I'd hate to drive with my son (6 yrs) and be hung up somewhere
and not have a phone. I'm less worried if it's just me.
