I bought our '53 TD off ebay and we have a friend who has bought a number of 
classic cars (Bentley, Rolls, Chryslers) as well.  I think you need to have a 
number of conversations with the seller and look carefully at her/his history 
on ebay.  We dealt with someone who had excellent feedback and the car was as 
advertised.  If the seller has no record, then you should check the car 
yourself or get it appriased by a pro.  By the way, if you can't go and get the 
car, there are a number of good transporters.  Cost us $750 Atlanta to 
Lancaster, PA in covered transport.  I have price checked shipping to Florida 
and that quote was $800 from the same carrier.

I am quite satisfied and have been nosing around ebay for other possibilities 
on ebay (maybe a Large British Car?)
