To All:
I wanted to let everyone know what I
found out when I went and started to work
on my clutch problem. To refresh all, I am the one with the clutch slippage
and did not know if it was the clutch or something else.
Well it turns out that the problem is the clutch member within the OD unit.
There is some gasket material like stuff that runs in the outside of this
clutch memebr well it was completly gone when the tranny guy looked at it.
There was also problems on the screen itself as there was small bits in
there as well. That is when he started looking elsewhere.
So now I need to find a clutch member and the only one that has them is some
junk yards and VB at the comforatble price of $200.
Also when looking at the clutch plate itself it was about 75% gone, so I am
replacing that as well.
Since I had the engine and tranny out I decided to do some
painting of the engine, so can someone tell me the
correct way to install the intake/exhaust manifold gasket???
Does the metal part go towards the engine or pointing
out towards the manifold itself????
Thanks again for all of the help in my effort to
get this daily driver back on the road, as the boss
is getting tired of me working out of the house.
