cut a piece of cardboard to cover half of the rad

I have to do that with my Datsun's. Japan didn't know what cold was
until the 1980's. Even with a new 180-190 thermostat, I can't get the
heat I need for the cabin. In the winter, the vehicles run colder than
in the summer, unless I cover 2/3 of the radiator. The cardboard will
also help the engine warm up faster, hence heat inside faster. Just
make sure you put a note beside the temp gauge to remove the cover
sometime in March!
