It is supposed to be with the ledge towards the back to stop the luggage
sliding down and off the trunk, most of the time your car is sitting or
moving forwards not braking, so the weight of the luggage pulls to the
ground with gravity not towards your head.
I've never seen one the other way around, does it fit that way...?
Robert.

Hi
Hopefully this isn't too stupid a question. Which way round does the
luggage
rack go?
Do you fit it with the 'ledge' towards the front of the car in which case
it
would stop luggage flying towards you when braking heavily or do you fit it
the other way around so it stops the luggage falling off the car under
heavy
acceleration? The former sounds the most sensible to me but all the
pictures
I can find disagree
Thanks for your help
