Derek, It requires a 1-5/16" socket. I took out a bank loan and bought a Snap-On part no. TW421 1/2" drive for the task. Be sure to measure the tube diameter first because you will need a thin-wall socket to fit the tube. Most of the other (cheaper brands) I looked at were too big to fit in the tube. Regards, David F.
