I have the bars but have never used them.  Yes, they do 'sculpture' the
tonneau cover when used as a hood cover but it isn't worth the fuss.  The
handbook shows them positioned behind the seatbacks when the tonneau cover
is used as the full-length cockpit cover, but I reckon they should be used
*in front* as that way they lift the middle and stop rain pooling in the
middle and dripping through the zip.

Front fastening depended on year and market, the two side fastenings being
variously press-studs at the base of the screen uprights or lift-the-dot
posts on the dash top in various postions near the screen uprights.  The
'centre' lift-the-dot seems to have have been in various positions near the
middle of the car.

Get the cover first and add fastenings as required.
