If you're serious about radio reception, make sure the replacement antenna
base makes good electrical contact to the car body (from underneath of
course). Just a tip from an old radio engineer.
Personally, I can't find any stations I care to listen to. When my B was in
the body shop, I had the antenna and the antenna hole removed (makes the car
cover fit a whole lot better). I only listen to CDs now.
