on my '71s and '74
the heat control (hot, warm, off) has a stop at each end and roughly 330
degrees of rotation.
the air control (vent, floor, off) has three stops and much less rotation
~180 degrees.
I'm pretty sure this was exactly the same on all years so it ought to apply
to you.
