GT rear Carpeting

Hello list. 
I am recarpeting the rear hatch area of my 72 BGT project car with auto
carpet, not a prefab carpet set. Can anyone describe to me the piece used
to cover or line the areas in front of the tail lights? Were these areas
covered with a fiberboard piece? Any input is welcomed.

Also, Enrique, could you give us the color codes for the beautiful red
paint on your B roadster? Thanks.
