Almost forgot about the other LBCs down here. Saw a couple of RBBs and a
couple of Jag XK8s in the Keys along US-1. Wednesday early evening saw a
new red Mini heading south on US-1 towards Key Largo. Thursday evening
saw a radically modified red MGA on US-41 in Venice, Florida, with an
very obvious V8 transplant, big ugly (sorry but true) bump in the bonnet,
and ungainly large fender flares to go with strikingly wide tires. Don't
think he saw us though, as we were nearly hidden in a turning lane of a
cross street. Thursday night a light yellow RBB in a Motel 6 parking lot
in Brandenton. FL. Suppose I should be keeping a better lookout, but
tough to spot these things on the expressway with about 150 mph closing
speed four lanes over.
Cheers,
