If you do happen to have a ball joint separator, then the Moss method is
easier, cos it is quite easy to unscrew the ball joint off the tie rod.
A tip -
When screwing the tie rod back into the ball joint, turning the rod inside
the gator can be a bit stiff. Make sure that the tie rod is clean. Lube
the small end of the gator with rubber grease or KY, or just steering box
oil (ep90)
