| Richard I had a similar problem. I compared the original nylon "square o-ring" to the one that came with the adapter. Turned out the new one was a bit thinner. I re-assembled it using the original o-ring and the problem went away. I then ordered some from Moss, seems like the ones they sell individually are correct and the one in the kit is a bit smaller.
