Getting ready to paint my '66 B.

Greetings, everyone.  I am contemplating painting my B and since I am on a
budget, I will have to take as much as possible off the B before I give it to
the bodyshop.

Question: Do I have to remove the dash before I remove the windshield? The
sources I've read say that it makes it easier, but is it necessary?
