Tyson,
There is still a piece in the OD which when removed will bring the ball out
with
it. It is the same outside diameter as the solenoid coil. Once you get it out
you will see it fits inside the metal case of the coil almost like a lid for
lack of a better term. Also I didn't see it in your pictures, hard to tell,
but
there should be a brass sleeve that fits between the plunger and the coil...
