Mark Olsen used to have a 'tach repair' page on his Sunbeam Tiger site but I
can't find it now. I think there are only a couple of transistors, the
usual way to detect marginal ones is to heat them up with a hairdryer to
make them fail, or use a freezer spray to 'repair' them.
