Weber carb

Hello--

I just installed a new Weber DGV downdraft carburetor on my '71 1275 Midget.
Runs like a top. One little question, though.

What do I do with the vacuum advance line that used to run from the vacuum
pump to the old SU carbs? Can I just disconnect that little hose at the
vacuum pump and seal that output on the pump?
