Yeah, basically I do the same, but... you didn't mention The Dreaded Long
Stop Light.
Actually, here in California you can pretty much tell by the calendar if
it's going to rain or not, but persons in thunderstorm-prone areas or in the
Pacific NW might want to keep the top in the boot regardless, unless the
floorboards are already rusted out...
