If anyone is really serious about doing this, reply off line (I am on
digest) & I will e-mail you a picture of my modified 1966 dash with both
center vents & corner vents for the A/C.
Don't bother trying to find British or European vents to fit the radio
cutout. Just use the center vents from the 1973-80 dashes turned sideways.
Even that is pointless, as they will not mate to the A/C supply hose without
a lot of work. Vintage Air has a rectangular vent which can be used. Two
will fill the radio opening with a gap of about 3/8" in the middle which is
easily filled with a bit of metal painted wrinkle black.
