I am just finishing a 65B restoration for my son. And I am on the beginning
phase of a complete 72B restoration.
Lately I have been using Ebay a lot, mainly because I am not in a hurry so
I can get parts if the price is good and pass otherwise. In particular, I
find Ebay the best source for radiators. I had to buy two and got each one
for around $30 whereas two salvage yards quoted me $100 for a radiator.
Radiator repairs themselves run from $75-150 at a local shop here.
For new parts, I buy from Moss or TRF if I need the parts quickly. Never
from VB because of their return policy or lack of one. But if I can wait
for the parts, I can get them cheaper from a Moss reseller from this list.
These are individuals that contribute to this list, offer individual
advice, and are all in the business not only to make a living but because
they are also LBC owners.
