Hello...I just joined the discussion group and hope I can get answers from
time to time on restoration problems. I am about to begin on a 1960 MGAFHC
1600. The car has no rust and is mechanically sound (about 52000 miles). It
has been painted once in its life, but otherwise is untouched. Since I want
to restore this car as close to original and concours as I can get it my
first question is: Which parts supplier provides the most original parts,
Gammons, Moss, etc? Is there a difference from one to the other on complete
interiors provided? and finally for now, is there a published standard from
any of the MG registers or clubs for concours events either here or abroad?
Any help you can provide will be most appreciated....
