My friend has this 64 B and I attempted to tune the carbs last night as it
is running terribly rich. The DPM ;) installed a different carb with the
later plastic fixed float.
Now what do I do here? Set the float height on each carb to the same level
as each other, or to the level they should set to for that type of float?
The free floating brass float is supposed to have 1/8" clearance and the
plastic type 11mm. This is what I have them set to now, but I fancy this is
wrong - ? Ideas?
We are probably going to order a new set of carbs anyway, but it would be
nice to at least get the car running again.
