About 12 years ago I went on a trek in the Himalayas, and as far as road
safety goes, Kathmandu (Nepal) has got to be the worst I've ever seen. I
can't even describe it. Horns and cows and death awaiting - it makes the
Boston scramble for the Callahan tunnel look tame.
